Im switching over to a C4 trans in my 88 stang. The car was originally a 4cyl. I was wondering if there was anything besides the B&M shifter thatis adirect bolt in. I know you have to purchase the conversion kit to use it for the C4. Is it possible to use the stock shifter with the C4.

Are there other B&M shifter that will work in that year car with minor modification? Where is the best place to purchase for the price for any shifter that would work?
