they have been bouncing and making clanging noises when i hit bumps since i bought it (they are MAC exhaust) from a dealership, but they wouldn't fix it cause its not a ford part. recently after going on really bumpy roads, they vibrate intensly and rattle a lot. where can i go to get them fastned or welded or whatever they need? how much will it cost?

i had an exhaust hanger that broke off one of my mufflers and i just took it to a performance shop and they welded it back on in about 15 mins and charged me $10. have you had it up in the air to make sure one of the hangers just hasnt slipped out of the rubber mounting piece? if so then you can just slide it back in there. but pretty much anywhere that does welding or muffler work will fix it for pretty cheap.

 

i think a hanger broke off or something, cause the noises really started after this super bumpy road. i don't have anywhere to put it up and look underneath it, but i'm on my way to a local muffler shop.

 

any muffler shop can fix it in 10min. A hanger plus welded install shouldnt cost more than $10
