351W help
Alright, please remember... I'm still learning so take what I post with a grain of salt.... as I may make myself look like a fool, but if you don't ask questions you don't learn.
I have a 1986 Ford Bronco, with a carbed 351W and I am really interested in dropping it into a Mustang. I know the engine mounts are the same for 1979-1995.... but was it the same all the way through on the 4th gen mustangs? I would much prefer to drop it into a 4th gen or one of the first 60s models, rather than the old 5.0s... Also would I need to lower the engine mounts or get a cowl hood, because the Windsor has more height on a 1995 Mustang? Since I would love a mustang, and I love the power from that engine and it was from my first vehicle... I figured its a nice project. I wanted to get my bearings down, and learn what I can before I start saving. I am going to do this over the next half year to a year... and buy all the parts I need so I do it smart, and not end up with a dead Bronco and Mustang sitting in my driveway. Also sorry this is a jumbled, and random post that jumps around a bit.... bit tired.

Added on so I don't double post...
I am looking at the Cervini's Cobra R hood, would that be enough clearance for a 351W? I don't want to have to lower the engine mounts as I hear that can cause problems with clearance... plus it gives me an excuse to drop 1300 dollars on the entire Cobra R kit.... hehehe

RE: 351W help
if you talking of putting a 351w in a sn95 body yes you can the 94 or 95 came with a 351, Cobra R andone of the Saleens also came with one in it you would need to start with a 94-95 v8 or v6 car or you will need to change the K member due to the 4.6 k members being different. just do some more research its out there
