oil leak?
Hi Everyone,
I recently got a 92 GT after wanting one for a long time. My brother got an 86 convert about 1990. I drove it once and was hooked. I still remember. I love it, glad I bought it. I wish gas wasn't so expensive and I had checked it out a little better. It leaks from a rack boot and there is some oil between motor/T5. I hear the rear main seal is a common leak? Think i'll wait for the clutch to go for that one. For an old car it still turns heads. Got to love the sound of flowmasters. I think the fox is better looking then the 94-04. Not as cool as the new one though. The stang isn't just a car, it's an american icon. One of the best cars america ever made along with the 57 tbird, vette, and 57 chevy. It's a reminder of goodtimes, fun, and youth.

ya, if you cant see a trail of oil coming from somewhere else, then its the rear main. make sure its not coming fromt he back of the heads or the pcv valve. one time my pcv valve wasnt in right and it fell out and oil spewed all over my firewall and down the back of the motor. what a mess
