Explain to me why I shouldn't save $100? I looked for used headers and an H-pipe but couldn't find any.

ok, saving money is great. i support your theory. the best place to find used exhaust parts is a shop that specializes in exhaust work. alot of times a used car dealer will take a car there to have a system returned to stock. here in pennsylvania within certaincounties a 1996 or newer vehicle must be equipped with all original exhaust components before being offered for resale. i actually have a BBK off road Xpipe hanging in my shed i got from a shop that way.
i hope this helps you.....
