Default no spark 77 cobra 2

Hey guys. I am new to this whole mustang scene. This is my first domestic car. All i really know about is hondas but i got boared with them and moved on to fords. Well i just recently got a 77 cobra 2 in good condition. It has been sitting in a garage for 10 years, but it was driven into the garage. My problem right now is i have no spark. I have already replaced the coil, distributor cap, sparks plugs and voltage regulator. I dont know what else to do. I am pretty sure that the wires in the plug that plug into the voltage regulator are hooked up wrong because they were all cut so i tried to splice them in with no help. Could this be my problem with getting no spark? And does anyone know what wires go were in the plug? Thanks

do you have a duraspark box? its a silverbox about 4x4" usually on the driver side it normally says motorcraft...

Im not sure, i just bought a new one from advance auto parts, it is silver but its blank on the front. It is alot thinner than my stock one too.

Yea, most likely the Dura Spark. The aftermarket one will not say Motorcraft on it. Didi you get the Dura Spark inj. box or truely a voltage regulator for the alt.? Make sure you do get the right replacment, Ford did have a few different versions. If I recall correctly, we went by the color on the plastic tab where the wires came out......brown, green, etc.
