just do a computer reflash, ford will already have the tire size and gear ratio programmed onto their computer

Doesn't everything below a 99 have to have a new speedo gear to accomidate for the different teeth on the new ring and pinion?

That will show you the correct gear you need for the rear end difference. There will always be a slight variance because of different tire sizes, but that really can't be avoided pre-99.

I just called a speedo gear shop and they said that the only 23 tooth gear is made my mopar and the driven gear will eat it up...?

Other than that I'll have to change the driven gears and what not or get an electronic calibrator.

I think I figured it out. I need a 23 tooth speedo gear. Can anybody find me a speedo like this now for cheap? One from Ford too. The cheapest I found was like 15 but with shipping was 23 or something. Maybe some free shipping too?
