Alright, here's the deal. I need some very specific production numbers. I'm hoping someone can help me. I've done research and found that I have a very rare color scheme. I have a '98 GT convertible with white interior, white top and yellow car. From what I understand the numbers were very limited. Me and someone else (also owns a 98 yellow and white) have been told that they only built approx. 15 cars like this in 1998. They have done research but are unsure of true numbers. I'm at a crossroad in life and can't decide to either keep it or sell it. I'm trying to find out the true worth of the car. If it is that rare, I may keep it!! If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

 

With doing some research, I went to the trusty AmericanMuscle.com and put in 1998 as the year. This brought up the following production facts:

17,024 GT convertibles were made in 1998
6,283 chrome yellow Mustangs were made in 1998

There were over 170,000 Mustangs produced in 1998, so there might only have been like 700 yellow convertible gt's, not factoring in the interior color. I'm not sure if they get more specific than this :\ Good luck!

 

Thanks!! I do have these numbers, and I know it gets more specific. We had someone in our club that worked for Ford. He could actually give you the amount of time your car went down the line, who touched it that day....even the amount of time each part took to make.
