Default Control arm bushing will not fit?

I got the smaller side done with no problems but now on the the big side it looks like the bushing is too large for the shell. I guess it may fit if I press it in hard enough but there's no way it's going in as easy as the other side. Plus the inside of the shell has some kind of protrusions in it. Is this normal or what should I do?

I took out one of the shells and it looks like it may fit in better without it at all. The arm has sort of a built in shell that should hold it. Has no one else done this before? I've double checked to make sure the parts I have are correct and I can't find any installation info anywhere.

Ok for everyones future reference it turns out some Mustangs come with "hydro bushings" which require a different replacement part. I believe the only difference is probably just a new shell that will accept the new bushing instead of using the existing one. I believe I can still make the ones I have work by doing a little improvising with the rotary tool. I will post back whether it works or not.
