HI,

When I flip the switch for my top all I hear is a clicking noise.?

I don't know if it's the motor or the switch any know?

Did it used to work?

Checked all fuses?

Where does the "clicking sound" seem to be coming from?

Are you trying to raise or lower the top?

 

Well We put it up and now cannot get it back down, it always worked until now...
There is no fuse for it (as far as i know)

I found out where it comes from (In the back of the trunk)

(there is two of them,one for putting it up and one for putting it down.)

Looks like a relay to me. Have you checked the Ford dealer?

 

After checking all the wiring and fuses out and if it still doesn't work, go to the dealership.

 

Or go to local junk yard. I had same problem it turned out to be the switch. But the relay was also bad.

 

is your E-brake engaged? also thats some sort of relay i think :S

 

they should have those at any performance shop or auto zone.

why go to a dealer for a relay switch?
