1966 289 2V Fuel Pump
Hi Everyone,
I'm in the process of trying to change out a fuel pump and I've run into some problems. When trying to install the new pump, the pump arm goes underneath the cam, but when it does, the pump is angled to where it won't go flush against the engine block. I've considered hitting the starter to see if I can get the cam to rotate just enough to get out of the way, but that's about all I can come up with. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Caleb
