Installing catback myself - as good as a professional?

Installing catback myself - as good as a professional?
Knowing a catback exhaust from flowmaster comes with plenty of clamps and a good set of instructions, I could install the catback myself using clamps with no welding.
However, I could have a professional do it for $150-$200, and they might do welding to prevent exhaust leaks and future problems. (Not sure if Midas would weld it or clamp it?)
With the risk of a possible exhaust leak, is it smarter to go with a professional at Midas who might weld it together vs. me clamping it together?
Thank you.

i would say that they will use the clamps. if you went to a custom exhaust place you could get it welded. they might if you ask them but im thinking they wont offer it to you. i put my Borla cat-back on myself little tougher without a lift but it can be done. the clamps with my kit worked well and with how popular flowmaster is im sure yours are just as good. i have checked if leaks and i dont have any. i think as long as you can tighten the clamps your fine. also if you do it yourself and have a leak you can have them weld it after its installed for less then having them do the whole thing since everything will be in place.
