Default 99 GT whining noise?

Hey guys. I have been noticing lately that whenever im doing highspeeds for a decent amout of time 85-90mph and/or being hard on it as far as acceleration goes, i begin to hear this whining noise. I cant really tell where its coming from. It almost sounds like the whining noise from a jet airplane. Any ideas what this may be? is it normal? Everything is running smoothly, its just this noise. Its pretty loud too. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

btw, ive only had this car for about a month so i dont remember if it always did it or not.

Look under the hood sence you have had the car for a month take a good look and see if maybe the old owner put a blower on it, either that or gears.

lol. no theres no supercharger, nitrous, etc. lol. Everything was stock when i bought it. i have mobil 1 synthetic in the rear. Btw, it ONLY does this during decent periods of high speed and/or hard acceleration. WHen i go to work, for instance, it doesnt do it.

yeah i did some research and its either a clutch issue or a differential?
but common in the GT none the less...

i looked through that whole list and i didnt really see anything that was describing my exact problem. Some of them were close, but no cigar.

for instance, it hasnt happened for the past two days...but i guarantee if i go on the highway right now and do 85-90 for ten minutes, itll be doing it. Is it normal? I have Mobil 1 synthetic and some rear end additive in there too. There was only slight shavings when i opened the rear and cleaned it.
