Default bondo sanding problems!!!!!!! need advice please!!!!

Hey guys, ive been applying and reapplying bondo on the curvy tail half of my 65 mustang and every time i set out to sand it i accidently sand a pit and i have to re-apply more bondo to fill it, I cant seem to sand it evenly, What do you guys recomend!! A electric sander or something? this is irritating the cRap out of me because i want to get to painting my car.

You need to use something to bridge over the area to be sanded...like a long flat piece of wood. You need to support the ends on the undented metal so that you can follow the contour.

Its called a sanding block, if you have not been useing one all along the car will turn out all wavy. Also after you sand the rough coats of filler you will need to put on a coat of glaze to fill the small sanding marks, sand the glaze with 600 grit. Also when applying and mixing the bondo, make sure you don't have air bubles in it. that will cause little holes to develop when it's dry and sanded.
