Can you tell if the clutch cable has stretched
Shortly after i purchased my car the throw out bearing started to squeak, when i went to work on it i figured i would do the clutch as well since im taking it all apart. I had the flywheel resurfaced, and installed a centerforce stage 2 clutch, pressure plate, etc. (i do know what im doing and highly doubt i made a mistake with anythin) However when i purchased the car i was given all the receipts from the origional owner which shows he had a BBk adjuster ****, and metal quadrant installed. lately my clutch release has been feeling high, and the adjuster **** has been turned out to compensate, i dont want to turn it out to far in fear of breaking the cable. The cluth is still very strong, recently i have had it at the 1/4 mile with no slip at all, even when i get on it theres no slip. Has my clutch cable just been stretched? i also have adjusted it like the owners manuel tell you "pull the pedal back towards you with your toe" that will help but after about a day or so it goes back to feeling high. Any answers are appriciated thanks, Jay.
