03 GT radiator fan question
I have a, probably stupid, question - my radiator fan's motor fried over the weekend. Luckily, it still rotated while I was in stop/go traffic, completely giving up the ghost only a few hundred feet past. That gave me time to get into a parking lot to let it cool down.

So, I load up my AllData to get a quick view of the removal. Easy enough, I take out the coolant tank, unbolt the fan assembly. Now, how does it come out? There's a metal fitting on the driver's side just above the shroud's mounting tab for the tranny. Just above the passenger's side mounting tab is the upper radiator hose. Obviously, removing the hose won't do any good as the neck/flange it slides over is there. If I shove the whole thing over towards the driver's side, I'm only about 1/2" - 3/4" from clearing the upper radiator hose... so it's really close.
