Default PCV question

for some reason, the last person to own my mustang put a fuel filter on the PCV line. I have no idea why someone would do this. But if someone knows anything about this, plz tell me cuz i really want to know if that filter is actually doing anything or if it would be better without it. Thanks in advance.

That's not a good idea. The fuel filter will get plugged and render the PCV inoperable. Something don't need to be re-engineered. To stop oil build-up, Steeda sells a canister to go in the PCV line to catch oil so that only blow-by gases, not liquids, pass to the engine.
