Default question about 351 engines

ok bear with me if i sound stupid here or it takes me a bit to answer anything i left you that you need to know for answers. this is for a guy at work and i didnt know what all i should ask him before i posted.

anyway his goal is to put a fuel injected 351w in his project car. i think he is going to stroke it to a 408. he has read that for the fuel injection he can use a computer, wireing harness, maf, tb(everything you would use to convert to mass air) from an 89-93 5.0 mustang. is that correct? would he need a chip to get it to work right? i know the intakes would be different, i think trick flow makes them for the 351. next question is what would be a good donor to pull a 351 block from? he said something like some are not designed to use roller hydraulic cams and some do.

thanks for any help

I believe fron 92 to 96 broncos use the 351 roller cam (I have a 96) as far as the computer goes theyre the same as the 5.0 but i believe the only difference is the mass air is calibrated for 24lb. injectors as well as having the matching 24 lb injectors. I do know that the factory specs for my bronco (Hp and Tq.) are actually a little lower than my 90 mustang it's only rated at 215 HP I think it might have a little more Tq but if it does it's not much
