Default ORGANIZING ENGINE BAY

i was reading this months 5.0 magazine and saw many organized and clean engine bays. how can i do this? essentially i just want to hide all the nasty wiring and hide ost of the plumbing. has anyone had experience doing this? are they kits? or do i have to do fabrication?

Typically a car manufacturer will take something like a vacuum hose & plumb it directly from A to B, across the engine or whatever. You can buy stuff like vacuum hose in bulk and re-route the existing ones by extending it & wrapping around visible areas. Don't go overboard on this though.

Like this?

That was a custom job from someone on this site.
or you just lookins to clena a little up than you can go to most auto stores that sell a plastic tubeing like grey mentioned. I tried that route once but after a while I found the tubing to crack and disinigrate after a while. Im planing to do mine similar to the one above when the dam hurricanes stop coming to the east coast. They are delaying me putting my engine minto my car.

Do a search for the pic above for almost stock. he has details on polishing and a few posts about cleaning up the bays also.
The easiest way to do all that work is to pull the motor out.
Than you weld in the small holes with a mig welder and will have to cut some sheet metal for some larger holes. than bondo, smooth everything else out and paint.
Than for the wiring you will mostlikely have to cut wires and resoder them with wire extentions to get them where you wnat to go. most route there wires under the feenderwell.
