Default spec stage 1 clutch issues..

i recently installed a spec stage one clutch kit and a frpp tob. I have 600 miles on it so far and it still vibrates and chatters. its not as bad as when i first installed the clutch. should i give it more time to break in or do you think i could have an issue? clutch pedal is adjusted correctly and i have adjustable cable, quadrant, and firewall adjuster. any input would be appreciated it thanks.

by 600 miles the clutch should be fully broken in. Were you easy on it at first? Did you get the flywheel resurfaced when you installed the new clutch?

i was really easy on it. never slipped it. flywheel resurfaced, it shifts perfect and strong, no slipping no grinding in any gear but first and rev are still chattering and vibrating a little bit. i loctited all flywheel bolts torqued down to specs and everything. i dont understand it. i may have to redo it but i will give it more time first.

dont redo it, its the way specs are. honestly it took about 1000 miles for my chatter to go away. all is well now. and it only does it from a stop, or when your downshifting right? it feels like the whole car wants to fall apart and everyone looks at you like you dont know how to drive stick right lol. i think mine was actually a small imperfection on the flywheel which caused the chattering. but specs are known for chattering quite a bit. give it another couple hundred iles it will get better.
