Has anyone ever had the motorvac cleaning service done to their cars? Thinking about getting it done soon cuz my mustang 5.0 has a lot of carbon build up and runs really rough, plus it stalls a lot.

 

You mean the Iac motor cleaned?.......it's easy to do your self.....can of throttle body cleaner and remove iac motor from the throttle body and clean it up and re attach it.

 

You can clean the carbon out of the combustion chambers by spraying a fine water mist into the intake with the engine running.The water flashes to steam and blasts the carbon out.Warm the engine to operating temp and hold the RPM's at around two or three thousand while you're spraying in the water.

 

Thats very interesting and Id like to know more about that one. What all does the steam cleaning clean out? Im willing to pay the $150 for the motorvac service for the fact it completely cleans out your engine from your air intake to the exhaust system.
