WHAT IS A BETTER CAM B303 OR E303 FORD SAID B303 IS MORE AGRESSIVE THAN E 303

 

There was just a post on this yesterday...my take is that the E303 is a milder cam but will pass emissions. Ford sells crate 5.0's either with E or B cam and they quote the hp of the E cam as 5 less. They also say to use the E with an auto trans.

 

I have the crate engine with the ecam. I like this cam much better for street. The B cam's idle is pretty lopey because its powerband starts at 3200rpms. The Ecam starts at 2-2500rpms. Plus, 5hp is hardly noticable.

 

the B is more aggressive then the E yes and the E will pass emissions but with 1.7 RR i have plenty of lift

I like my E cam, but id rather have the trickflow stage 1.

 

i had the B 303 wayin the day with 5spd.and 3,73s..it did hit good ...
