Default 351 setup or turbo 2.3 setup?

(1993 4cyl mustang) which would u do? build a 351 OR build a turbo 2.3?

If i did the 351 then i guess it would have to be carb, which i would rather fuel injection, but since my car is a 2.3 goin to a v8 it would be a headache i think. I wouldnt be able to drive it everyday cuz of gas. It would sound good an have a ton of power tho.

If i did the 2.3 turbo then it still would just be a four cyl lol. Wouldnt be as fast as a build 351. I would get ok gas mileage. I guess if u put the money to it then it could be fast. Maybe fast enough to beat a vette that cost way more lol.

What would yall do?

i would go 2.3 turbo, i think it would be easier to do, you could get around 25 mpg, but not as much power.. but i would go that way

the old saying.. no replacement for displacment. if your looking for gas milage , don't do squat! if your looking for power, go with the swap. i have a buddy that has a 2.3 turbo stang that he spent a butt load of money into($1200) for the turbo motor.. i was trying to tell him to go with the v8 swap. nope . he didn't listen. i spent a $350 for the 351w and $250 for a c4. then i found a 8.8 w/ 4.10's,moser spool, 33 spline moser axles, already 5 lug for 400.00. A GRAND TOTAL OF $1000.00.

351 all the way. In the end I bet the price comes out to be equal to the price of the stuff you would need to turbo the 2.3

2.3 turbo....dare to be different than all the V8 owners. Same power on less spark plugs is more fun, trust me.
