Go to autozone, borrow a scan tool and see what codes you have. As far as the airbag code, I am not sure if your sopposed to attach a scan tool to the module, or if it flashes the codes you describe. I am sure somebody on here will know how.

you cannot plug it into the module cuz you cant get to it the scan tool has an obd 2 connector and it will plug in under the driver side dash

to check it you would go to the body module in the scan tool

^^i would study a little harder at uti
the air bag light flashing has nothing to do with plugs or wires, it is an indicator of an air bag system fault. have it scanned at a dealer, most after market scanners usually cant pull air bag codes.

he said rough idle when it was just sitting there its not air bag related, and yes there are scanners called the ethos, and solis by snap-on that can pull any code you can imagine, so i would watch what you say when you think someone is wrong. oh yeah and its in the body control module not powertrain sry.

i know about the solis and modis, i have used both. i was refering to the autozone scan tool that somone had recomended earilier, i doubt he is going to spend $2000-$7000 for a slois or modis to pull a code on his own car.
