synthetic or conventional

see but you ran synthetic in it for a long time so it mostlikely took out most of the conventinal thats in it, and yeah synthetic is better but like i said earlier i said it is better to run it on conventinal if thats all that has been ran in it, and you will be able to tell a difference if you switch oil, you will start hearing sounds that you have never heard before and it could be something wrong or there will be nothing wrong at all, and if the switch did work for some ppl then great for them. but if you do switch and it starts to run crappy switch back to conventional. have fun do what you want you dont have to follow or believe my advice. so have fun with what ever you do.

There is a lot of hocus pocus around this topic, its pretty funny actually. While scientifically synthetic oil is "superior", unless you are racing through Death Valley on a regular basis, not changing your oil for 10,000 miles, or running your car through the 24 hour LeMans circuit, you'll never see a difference IMHO.
I have run 100% synthetics, dino oils, blends, etc, across 20+ different vehicles over the years. Some were sports cars, some trucks, etc, and I've lived everywhere from IL, TX, AZ, UT, WA during that time. Everything from constant mountain driving to nothing but flatlands. I just simply have nothing to backup the notion that using synthetic in any situation ever made a difference at all. I wish I could say I did, considering how much $$$ I spent over the years on synthetic, but I just plain do not.
Again, when in doubt run what it calls for in your owners manual. If putting synthetic in will make you sleep better at night, then maybe its worth it to you. As for me, I go by the book these days.
That said, always buy a high quality oil filter!!

Phase it in
I'd say phase it in, blend then go full.
