ADVICE/IDEALS
Ive got my white 67 with a 302. I know its not factory. But since its not factory I figured that i would modify it a lil. I dont want to go extreme because i dont have money filled pockets. I do have a lil to spend on it. Saving up now. Im thinking about just buying a rebuild kit. ?(pistons, rings, seals, bearings. valves,(staying stock) and steping up on the stock cam. and converting to electronic igniton. Any ideals or advice would be awesome.
Also where can i get good quality parts interior/exterior. Also where can i get a new top for it. ITs a hardtop. Sum how glue didnt stick and came up and water rusted the top from where the vinyl dint stay.
thanks
michael
******* I do know that when its ready for paint later. Im going to put it back white and 2 blue strips down middle and keep it black interior with leather buckets. Rims im not sure if im going to go back to original with just hub caps...or step it up to a slick set of retro aluminums.

honestly i would save up for a big block, and i would build that car not leave it stock one bit. but thats just me i would try to modernize it as much as i can. such as no carburated engines...BOOOOOOO...too much hassle. but anyway but every thing you said was really good to but another thing would be to sleeve the cylinders and rebore it, then the engine would be brand new.
I had thought about boring it. But then again idk. IF i do bore it how much should i bore it? Would it just be as cheap to buy a totally new built engine. But i am going to change it to electronic ignition. But i think im going to keep it carborated. They are alot of hassel sumtimes to set...but they sound great when u get it tuned up.
