I just rebuilt the top end of my 95 v6 mustang and I was told that it would be noisy and make a dry screeching noise for a while since its all brand new. But how long should this last and how long should i run the car?

 

A dry screeching noise is normal??!? WTF kinda place gives that advice?

So, I guess you didn't touch the lifters at all during the work?
