Project Car. Advise needed/wanted.
Just helped a friend do a 2.3 to 5.0 swap in his 93 and I got the fever. I found a 1995 v6 in great shape that needs tranny work (no big deal I wouldn't use it anyways) for under a grand. Body and insides are in the great shape which is all I really car about.
Now after reading the forums it seems most people just suggest picking up a v8 from the start. If you were in my shoes what would you do?
Also I'm guessing most would suggest either a 302 or a 351 swap. Would there be a reason to look at a 4.6L having a 1995?

If you're buying new parts or have a hard time finding parts buying a gt is the better option. Every v8 swap i've done has costed less than buying a v8 car to begin with, but I get alot of parts from a salvage yard. Cheapest one so far was a $200 car with a $250 donor v8 mark vii + $50 for an 8.8"
