Default keys

if i needed to replace my column ignition, that would mean it would have a new key. so, what would i do if i wanted to keep using one key for ignition, doors and trunk? would i have to buy everything together or is there some way to rekey the new ignition to the existing key?

^^^ditto, send your key out or take it to a local bodyshop, they should be able to code your new cylinder to the key you already have.

If you're replacing the steering column, can't you keep the key tumblers from the original column & put it in the replacement?
