Slower? I don't really see that. Even with the 6.0L the GTO is still 3900+lbs. From a standing start the Bullitt will not be any slower with a guy that knows how to drive his Bullitt. The GTO will pick up speed quicker once you start moving past 60, but I don't see the Bullitt losing on a 0-60 run.

yo skillz, nice video clip. im in love...but serious note. i just got my 08 Bullitt last week and i have to say, even though i havent owned very many vehicles let alone muscle cars(1st one) i am veerrryyy happy with this car...honestly, probably one of the best things thats ever happened to me was the pure chance that the dealership found the exact one that i wanted..besides, the GTO looks kinda ugly IMO.

What option did you get on yours? What number is your Bullitt?

I got it with no options..i wanted it as stock as i could get it..what made it so hard was finding one without the sirius radio and without the GT security system. i didnt want the little antenna to mess up the clean look sittin on the trunk and i put in my own after market alarm..i got #5522....this thing has got plenty of power off the lot.. and all the options for upgraded power far out weigh the GTO..

I would have to go with the Bullitt.

The 6.0L goats are fast, but if i had to get into a car that ugly everyday, it would take a helluva lot more than a LS2 engine to keep me from driving it into a wall.

Skillz your sig is the reason i live...

Gerit, congrats on #5522, those cars are mean...

Raw, what options did you get on your Bullitt?

Honestly the GTO was about the worst looking car Pontiac could have possibly made. It looks like they took a Chevy Cobalt and put a big engine and rwd in it. If power is your only requirement and driving a turd is your thing then the GTO is for you.

Faster Car stock=GTO
Better Looking=Mustang
More comfortable ride=GTO
MPG=Mustang
Better modding capabilities=Mustang

I know they have the LS2 and are pretty fast, but they don't have great build quality and are hard to get great traction/wide wheels on them I hear from someone who owns one on this site. Get the bullitt or a gt, add a supercharger with an exhaust you like, a few suspension mods, and sticky tires and go run 11's all day at the track if you can drive (or an auto trans will do it for you). Want more, get forged internals up the boost and shoot for low 11's or even 10's with some more work.

LOL This is the same guy that started that argument thread where he said his Grand Prix is better than all of our "P.O.S." [slow] Mustangs.

I will not take part in this thread

i'd have to get the GTO. Blue with Blue interior. good stuff. plus you'll pay about half the price of the overpriced Bullitt and be a bit faster... with more potential, too.

it is ugly and it's hard as hell to fit wider wheels on the back (i think 285 is the max with rolled fenders), but that engine is gold. if they were the same price, Bullitt all the way, but it isn't worth the price difference IMO.
