I am currently looking for a nice exhaust for my V6 2006 Mustang. For the past week, I have been set on buying a Borla Axle-Back Exhaust like from this website (http://www.lightningforceperformance...-v6-p-929.html). This one costs about $360.

However, I recently found out that some Ford Racing exhausts are made by Borla. These are only about $230. One example is here (http://www.dallasmustang.com/product...=11945&cat=138). Another example is right here (http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=7706). Here the picture looks identical, but it says 3.5 inch tip, while the actual Borla one says 4.0 inch tip.

I am very confused.

Can someone please advise me on the two options? I do not want to buy the 360 dollar borla one, if the 230 dollar FRPP one is exactly the same.

they are the same i have the FRPP ones and i can tell you that they sound great and are the same as borla . . borla makes the the exhaust for ford racing i have the stingers and my stang is a gt tho but still should be the same

glad i could help. . with FRPP they have other companies make there parts most the time and just slap the ford racing on it
