Default 351 Cleveland block questions

Alright so I picked up a 351 cleveland block an 8.8 rear and the stock cleveland block heads, I am planning on building the block ...we are sending the block out to get checked for cracks and anything like that...its a bare cylinder head right now.

This 351 is out of a 73, I was wondering what auto transmissions besides the aod will bolt up to it, Also is the stock crank good for about 600-700 hp?

also do you guys have any suggestions for problems I might run into dropping this into an 89 mustang?
