Hey guys, I'm workin on an AOD swap in my 66 5.0L coupe. I'm shopping around for a shifter, and I really like the Hurst V Matic 2. This may be a dumb question, but will this particular shifter work with an AOD? I know I'll probably have to buy an AOD conversion kit, but most of the places i like only list the c4/c6 transmissions. The B&M Hammer is my second choice. Or, on the other hand, what do you guys think about leaving the stock shifter and just adapting it to work? Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance.
