How can I fix this?

How can I fix this?
When I let my window on my 93 stang down it tends to slip a little. If I let it down slow and stop half way I can push down on the glass a little and the window will slip down just a little. What could this be. I'm thinking maybe some of the gears on the window motor are bad. What do you all think?

If your inclined to...remove your interior door panel, pull aside the plastic barrier, and plug in the window switch (you have to remove to take off door panel) and run the window up and down. This will help you diagnose where the window is catching. You might need to adjust the window channel, or simply lube the channel. You may, however need to replace a part or two. Have you had body damage repaired on the malfunctioning door glass?

I have the door panel off and all I see it the window will slip a little when letting it down. If I stop the window half way I can move the glass up and down about an inch or two. What parts would I need to replace because I've lubed everything up already and it's still doing it. The car has not been in any type of accident.

It could be your channel bracket($33.00). It is the part that attaches the window to the manual regulator. It could also be a combination of track adjustments and brackets. Try taking off the opposite door panel and do a comparison.
