Default Problem with my Bullitt...

I have a 2001 Bullitt GT. I got it a couple weeks ago. Great car, great sound, great power. But there is one problem... my engine cuts out at anywhere from 4k-5k rpm whenever my throttle is wide open. Sometimes if I stay on the gas too long when it cuts out, my car will automatically kill when I put the clutch in. Sometimes, the gauges will go dead and then come back alive when I shift into a different gear. This is frustrating, because it does this in EVERY gear. I've done everything I can think of that wouldn't take a lot of time, or leave me without a car to drive, and I have no clue what it could be.

Does anyone have an idea what might be going wrong?
