18 Month old battery corroded

my battery is doing the same, its really bad. Did they say why It did it?

He danced around my idea that they may have left the cables loose when our radio was serviced, but never admitted to anything. Hopefully you have better luck convincing them it's not your fault than I did.
I'm going to call today and work my way up. Again, it's not really about the money, it's about being right.
I'll post how it goes.

Well, I didn't have to go far. I spoke with the service manager at the dealer and he agreed that it should not have happened that way. He's mailing me my money back. He said that the service rep was talking to him about it the next day and that he didn't feel right about it either.
I'm happy that they worked with me and my wife can continue going to the guy she likes.

go to autozone or walmart, and CRC makes a product called "Battery terminal protector". It's like $4 for a can of it and will last you a while. You just clean the corrosion off your terminals and spray it on. It works great.

Check the battery, Have foud the terminal leaking at the lid more than once, lets the acid through the plastic case.

just happened to me also.got out of work and my car wouldn't start.both terminals corroded.clean them,then hooked turner to it and said my battery was under 12v.need a new battery now.

Wow! I'm going to have to keep an eye out for this problem!!! I think within the next week I'm going to go buy some stuff to "preserve" my battery!
