Just wondering, what would be the best thing to do with a totaled 1999 V6? I rolled the car a few days ago, but managed to spare the engine and transmission. As it was cheap, I bought the car back from the insurance company. So.....now what? I'm just look for a few opinions.

 

Start dissasembling it and sell the parts on ebay?
Call local auto wreckers and see how much they'll take for your parts?
Buy a new car and just keep your wrecked one for spare parts as needed?

Possibilities are endless
I'd start making some calls soon tho if I were you

I will probably end up selling the parts off. However, I would really like to find a New Edge body with either a blown engine or a shot transmission. I don't even know where to begin looking though. It seems I can't yet post a WTB ad, so I suppose I'm out a car until I strike a bit of luck.

 

Just search all over the internet, there are so many resources these days.
Look in your phone book for auto wreckers & salvage yards and start getting people's opinions who actually do this for a living, they'd probably be glad to guide you through everything

If you're looking for salvage cars a good place to start is ebay, if anything just to get an idea and a price range...
