OK, have had my tuner for awhile now, and it works for everything except the reason WHY i bought it.

I have 373 gears and want to fix my speedometer/odometer, but they never get fixed with the tuner. everything else works; i can turn traction off, ieven set my rev limit to 4500 to mkae sure the tuner is working and all, and all that works fine, but when i change the axle ratio to 3.73 (which magically changes to 3.72 when i go back in later on upon trying to fix the speedometer/odometer again..) nothing happens!

I even tried 3.90 and 4.10, but still.. nothin'.

it fixes the speedometer sort of; like, in 1st 2nd 3rd gear it seems like it's calmed down a LITTLE, but when I'm on the interstate in 5th gear at 2000 RPM it says i'm going 70+ still, and people are passing me like I'm standing still.

I e-mailed diablosport about it and they told me to update my drivers.. which were already up to date.

Anyone else have this problem?? Anyone know how to fix it?? Is there something special I'm supposed to be doing????

 

not sure about that year of car but u could always buy a spedo gear, also try resetting the computer then doing the tuner

 

how do i reset the computer?

i bought the tuner specifically for the speedo calibration, until i mod the car some more i'm not using the predator tune since id on't want to buy the better gas (so im not gonna buy a speedo gear, unless it's insanely cheap on ebay or something)

on the new cars the speedo is calibrated in the computer..if it reads 3.72 why worry

 

'cuz it also reads 80 MPH when i'm barely keeping up with traffic in a 55 zone....

 

I have earlier versions of their tunes I can e-mail if you want to try them.

 

The shop that did mine had the same problem. They had to download all the latest pathces then "flash" the computer and redo everything. If that doesn't work I would email Diablo again, they seemed like they wanted to help me when I was having some problems.

 

When I did my 4.10s I had to adjus the speedo by changing the tire size to.

If you are off a little it will compound it self as you get faster. If you are off 1mph at 10mph you will be off 2 at 20, 3 at 30, 4 at 40,......

You may need to do the tire size change to get it to work.

You can also try and reload the factory tune and then reload the predator tune.
