Default this is more a general Ford question

why doesn't ford put dual overhead cams in the mustang? my parents have a 4runner (v6 4.0) sport and it comes with dual cams and produces 245 hp and 282 ft lb! plust this thing has a 3.73 rear gear stock also! i dont understand ford? I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND!!! are they just lazy or something?

Besides, I have a 4v, the Shelby GT500s have 4vs, not everyone can have their cake and eat it too
