Default Alarm system help

I just purchased a 1996 Mustang GT yesterday and theres an alarm system on the damn car. The person from whom I bought it from lost the alarm remote and ford remote to unlock and lock the doors and the trunk thingy , anyway. Anytime I have to lock the car I have to push down the locks or use my key because if I use the power locks and then try to open it, without the alarm remote being pushed the alarm will go off. It just happend at o 8:20 this morning.( Hey neighbors!). I can disconnect the battery to shut it off but theres no odd or wierd looking lines running to the battery like if you had installed an alarm. Im thinking that if the alarm system just runs off of the car battery then it probably doesnt have its own horn it just uses the cars. Now for the help. Where the hell do I start looking and what will it look like???? HELP!!!

There should be a valet switch that you can turn the key forward and flip the switch and the alarm will shut off.It is usually under the dash look around and see if you can find it.

Why don't you start by tearing out the alarm siren? Can't be hard to find.. set off the alarm & follow you ears
