I called up the dealarship and they said that it shouldnt be going off since you have the right key for the car. So they want me to pay $92 for them to look over it and them price it for me or I can go get a keyless remote( which I want anyway) and pay$ 52 and that would fix the problem.

Default Lock and alarm grief

I have a 1996 mustang that came with only one key. The drivers door lock has never worked so I have been unlocking the passenger side and unlocking the drivers door that way. Now all of a sudden if I go in that way the alarm goes off and I have to use the key in the drivers door to get it to quit. My problem now is that I can't get my key in the drivers door lock at all and I'm afraid that if I go through the passenger door it will set the alar off and I won't be able to get it to stop. Any ideas on what I can do??
