Surging, Relocated Fuel Pump?
Ok, I have a couple questions that the search button did not answer. I came across a guy on here that wrote "Surging is when your lean." Now I think surging is the best way to describe what is happening to my 1969 302 4v.
when I'm giving it some throttle it "surges" back and forth, usually higher in rpm, like as if fuel is cut off intermittently. Also, The fuel pump has been relocated to the front of the car (unless its always been there, and i'm stupid) and someone told me that for one reason or another the fuel pump being in the front is what causes the surging. I hope to get some of your intellectual Input on this matter and All is much appreciated. I'd really like to get back to passing people without worrying about the surging.
also, If it helps its an Edelbrock 600 carb.
