Hello I have a 1983 ford mustang convertible. I found the buck tag tonight and would like to know what it means. Would anyone be able to help me?

This may help some http://www.sspmustang.org/technical/bucktags.htm. You may want to email this place http://www.decode-a-ford.com/ and see if they can decode your body buck tag. Their site says they can only do cars upto 81 but they may be able to do your car. You can call ford and get a history 999 report from ford. It tells you what options your car had on it. The number is 1(800) 392-3673 ask for customer service then tell them you want a history 999 report. It is free. You can decode your vin on mustangspecs.com.
