Default 1982 Merc Capri

Hey Guys, wanted to get your .02 about these cars? I recently came across one for sale that was a 3.3 v6. Guy started to do a v8 swap. Just did the K member and pedal assemb. for 5 speed swap. I wanted to pick up the car and get a donor vehicle like 90+ fox and swap everything over....I'm hoping will be direct swap? I never was big on these cars and over time they grew on me....the rareness and wide body make it super cool in itself. Any input would be appreciated....Thanks All.

Whats up Tim? Yeah I like em cuz you never see them on the road...the wide bodies are bad. But its just a project which I hate...lol...gota get a donor car so I have **everything** ya know how it goes.

The Notch is cool? Just slow lol....I made 420hp/441tq two weeks back....I need to make a decision regarding the next step....I had ****ty tires and it would light up the tires in third rollin on it....I was like bad...lol....but then I got new set of rubber it hooks now...."its ok." I want violent HP. Is it ever fast enough?

1. I do better heads/cam run my aftercooler (all this is a lot of work)
2. spray 100 shot dry
3. Just do a T-trim swap with 4" inlet piping. Re-tune.

What do you think?

Yeah true...I dont even want to do H/C swap on black coupe....for more HP....yeah the car is pretty cool...all orig. paint body etc....But yeah its going to take sometime and out here in CA we have to get the cars referee stamped then smogged and tagged accordingly when swapping motors...more of a pain....car was orig. a 6cyl AT.
