Exclamation What exactly does a throttle body do

I have a 1997 v6 in order to upgrade mine what is a good kind to get

No such thing as a need to upgrade a V6 TB until you do a lot of other work. The TB isn't a weak point in the over all airflow, so upgrading to a larger one won't do anything but cost you money. Spend your money on the exhaust first.

exhaust is a nice decent boost but if your gonna get an exhaust get a full kit not just tips or half pipes

Auto = 4.10
Manual = 3.73
