Default tie rod!!!

was at my friends house last night (who just happens to be a ford mechanic) and i asked him to take my car out for a spin to see if he could notice a hesitation like ive noticed. He gets in the car.. backs out then puts it in first and straightens the wheel...nexty thing u hear is a loud crack. He immediately looks at me and goes u herd that too didnt you? and i was like o god what was that. Yep it was a tie rod. so now my baby is sitting in his house all snuggled up till he gets the pieces, but he sed he should have them today...what a lucky place to break down

As you just found out It's best to check those noises out when you first hear them. When they involve steering & brakes they need to get fix'ed right away. All the power and speed in the world won't help if you can't steer and stop.
