Hi everyone. Today I put on my turn signal (making a right turn) and noticed that it was completely solid and would not blink upon activation. I parked, turned on the signal again and noticed that the rear bulb is out and the front light would remain solid. Anyone know the cause of this? Thanks for any help!
Yep, it's most likely a bulb but it could also be a little corrosion on the contacts in the bulb socket. Make sure that's clean when you change the bulb.
It could be a bulb, turn siginal cam in switch ( if you have that). I think if it was the flasher, neither side would blink, but who knows, could be the flasher.
Easiest way to tell is using a test light to see if he is getting power to the bulb. If power is there & it still doesn't work, it could be the ground as well.
no guys its much simpler than that...youre just out of blinker fluid...the hydraulic mechanism that makes it blink needs blinker fluid to work properly...just goto autozone or advance auto parts...its like 1.99 for a pint of it..
You could be on to something there. It may be the blinker fluid afterall. Maybe bad muffler bearings caused the muffler to heat up which in turn caused the blinker fluid to heat up and boil the blinker fluid out.
