So I take a cruise in the coupe up to Oriely's to buy some energy suspension sway bar links. As Im leaving I gas it to shoot across the intersection, I hear a lil bang and then it starts sounding like my tailpipe is rubbing on the tire. Pull over and look...nope not the exhaust. So I take back off and as I hit a bump I can hear it worse, and worse, tire smoking all kinds off ****. Back to the side of the road and then I see it..

Trash *** **** has bent and is causing the rear to rub on the front of the fenderwell.

How it should be










Oh, and after I talk with GMS they tell me they can't do anything cause it falls on the company I bought them from. TRASH *** ****. How could Summit be responsible for GMS's trash???? Who's gonna pay for my tire???

This is because I knew the tubular ones of theres had broken before, and I thought I was safe with these.

 

Looks like a weak design to me in the first place.. good thing for me Granatelli is a friend of a friend..

 

I would guess having him as a friend is the only way to get something done whenever one of his trash prducts fail. I have been putting this thread up on every Stang site I can, and amazingly almost everyone reply's "I thought everyone already knew they were junk!" I honestly don't mind that the product failed, stuff happens. I just can't stand when a company won't stand behind there product. All GMS has done so far is push the blame, and try and send me elsewhere. I will definately go elsewhere, next time I buy anything for my Foxes.

 

Wow. That could have been really bad. What garbage. Thanks for letting me know, I'll never give a dime to GMS.

 

Thats a shame. That does look like a pretty flawed design. I was even looking at some of their stuff awhile ago. Glad i didnt go with them. Thanks for the warning
