So, I want to get my windows tinted. Any suggestions or input on what anyone has that they really like, or dislike?

I know in cali you have to have 70% light let in. Also, on our cars (mustang GT 06) would you recommend tinting any other windows besides the front side windows? the back side windows are already pretty dark. Is tinting the rear recommended?

 

ok TECHNICALLY!!! in CA u arent allowed to have ANY tint on ur front side windows... therefore since our cars are coupes u legally cant have tint on ur side windows. u can legally ONLY tint the lil quarter windows and the rear. Most cops dont even care so just do wat u want. I really think anything less than 35% is a waste of money. and yes u should tint the rear window too its kinds weird if u dont. if i were in ur shoes i would tint the side windows maybe like 20%. and the rest 5% or u could go 20 all around. Hell a buddy of mine has a 98 GT with 5% limo tint ALL AROUND even the front and he's never received a ticket. But if a cop wants to be a dick about he can and he can give u a fix it ticket for ANY tint on ur side windows... but i wouldnt worry too much. street cops dont really enforce it, its primarily the CHP who will try and get u for tint. hope this helps... good luck

 

well what about when its time for an inspection? Well I guess you could just peel the tint off.

I think I might either go with 20 or 25 for the sides. as for the quarter windows and the back, I'll either go 5, or just match whatever I decide to do with the front. What do the quarter and back come as stock?

And Joel, I love the look of limo all around, especially on lighter colors..... I wish I had the ***** to do it myself. ha.
