Default car not performing right!!!!

i have a 1990 mustang 5.0, 5-speed, i recently cleaned the MAF sensor, throttle body, to fix my idle problems, i have noticed that the car has a slight hesitation when revving at an idle, and tonight i drove the car kindove hard, and i noticed that it isnt really performing like it should. from a dead stop the car doesnt seem to get up and go like it should. PLEASE HELP!!! thnx

maybe you should try to adjust your TPS(throttle possition sensor) or try cleaning your IAC

You have to be very careful when you clean your MAF sensors. They are delicate and can damage easily. If you have damaged them at all, your call will run rough. In that case, you will need to buy a whole new MAF. A bad IAC and/or O2 sensors can also cause all kinds of grief with your engine. Best bet so you don't go wasting lots of time and money in the wrong direction is to get your engine scoped. The readout should tell the tale.

You ported and polished a stock steel head?????Why may I ask? What makes you think the car isnt performing up to par?I've never heard of someone cleaning a mass air flow what made you want to do that?!If you break that little wire in there its gonna cost ya a couple hundred for a new one Id be willing to bet thats what it is.
